George has been giving guitar courses for the past 35 years in a variety of styles. He always aimed to inspire and encourage beginners or professionals to be creative and to find their own style. Taking a private course with George is also a moment of sharing knowledge in a multi-cultural atmosphere.

Description

George gives courses of jazz, latino and classical guitar. He is constantly focused on the needs of the students. Program is adapted to the student's age and capacity. Courses are given in english, french or spanish.

 

Jazz: Work on standard jazz repertory (...); improvisation and comping. May use acoustic or electric guitar.

Latino: Work on the repertory of afrocuban and brazilian songs and their rhythmic components.

Classical: Work on the classical repertory and its corresponding technique.

Information

No audition is required and anybody is eligible for a private course. Following discussion, the student and George agree on the convenient schedule and the material to be studied.

 

Students Levels: beginner to advanced

Price: varies according to amount of monthly lessons. To discuss with teacher.

Schedule:  Courses are given on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 to 20:00 and may start at any time of the year.
